The Colours We Remember

When we think back to parties as a child they always seem so vivid in colour, so much brightness and joy. All those childhood favourites that filled the printed paper plates, not knowing that they would be fondly remembered or iconic staples of an era. Do you remember those parties? The big halls with space to run and the ones in your friend’s living rooms… playing pass the parcel, dead lions and pin the tail on the donkey. I also remember preparing plates like this for my own children’s parties, I don’t think there was much green on those plates - maybe a fluorescent jelly or green jelly tot! These memories take us back to happy times when the highlight was running to the paper table cloth and filling your party plate with every colour of the rainbow and sitting next to your best friend.
